Perham Health Preparing to Offer COVID Vaccine to Persons 65+

PERHAM (KDLM) – In response to the recent announcement from the Minnesota Department of Health that persons age 65 plus are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, Perham Health is preparing to offer the vaccine to that age group as soon as supply allows.

“While there is very limited supply of vaccine to begin offering it to our patients in the 65 plus category, our team is ready to accommodate vaccination requests as soon as supply allows us to do so,” said Chuck Hofius, Perham Health CEO.

Perham Health will notify its patients through My Chart when they can make an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Patients without My Chart will be notified by mail.

Perham Health asks that everyone, including those who have been vaccinated, to continue to practice prevention measures by masking, physical distancing, and handwashing.
