BEMIDJI (KDLM) – The Perham wrestling team took on Bemidji and Thief River Falls in a Triangular, Friday in Bemidji.

Bemidji has another outstanding team this year ranked No. 8 in Class AAA. Perham wrestled well led by big matches from Gareth Covington and Brian Ramos in the loss.

Perham fought hard all night against No. 9 Ranked Thief River Falls and won the match with five falls from Hackel, B Ramos, Feldt, Kruzel, and Mickelson. This was a big early season win for the Yellowjackets. This year dual meets will not end in a tie and be decided by criteria.
