DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Freezing rain and snow will make travel difficult in the Lakes Area through Friday.
Light to moderate snow is forecast to develop into northwestern and west central Minnesota Thursday afternoon and evening and end later Friday. Depending on amounts of snowfall and intensity of the winds, travel impacts may occur with blowing snow a main hazard. Wind gusts over 40 mph could be possible.
The National Weather Service says there is still a lot of uncertainty with this system.
