DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Lakes Fire Chief Ryan Swanson says the fire that destroyed Wold’s RV Sales on Tuesday is being investigated by Detroit Lakes Police and the State Fire Marshal’s Office as an arson.
Damage is estimated at more than $1 million dollars. Flames were pouring out the east side of the building when the fire was reported around 10 pm Tuesday, “Right off the bat we had mutual aid, once crews got on scene, we were able to get to the scene of the fire and knock it down. The fire did major damage to the showroom and parts room of the building.”
Swanson says a firefighter received a back injury from pulling hose through deep snow.
